2017年4月1日，中共中央、國務院決定設立河北雄安新區。設立雄安新區，是以習近平同志為核心的黨中央為疏解北京非首都功能、深入推進京津冀協同發展作出的一項重大決策部署。9年來，在黨中央堅強領導下，經過各方共同努力，雄安新區高起點規劃、高標準建設、高質量發展，城市形態實現格局性變化，現代化城市形象正在顯現，現代化城市治理體系不斷完善，雄安新區建設和發展取得重大階段性成果，一座“未來之城”正拔節生長。
