May 12 marks International Nurses Day. The total number of registered nurses in China had exceeded 5.2 million at the end of last year, with roughly 3.7 registered nurses for per 1,000 people,according to the National Health Commission (NHC).

1912年，國(guó)際護(hù)士理事會(huì)決定將弗洛倫斯·南丁格爾的生日——5月12日設(shè)立為國(guó)際護(hù)士節(jié)，以此紀(jì)念這位近代護(hù)理學(xué)科的創(chuàng)始人對(duì)護(hù)理事業(yè)發(fā)展所作出的卓越貢獻(xiàn)。

今年是第112個(gè)國(guó)際護(hù)士節(jié)，今年我國(guó)護(hù)士節(jié)的主題是“發(fā)展護(hù)士隊(duì)伍 改善護(hù)理服務(wù)”。黨的十八大以來(lái)，我國(guó)護(hù)理事業(yè)快速發(fā)展，護(hù)士隊(duì)伍持續(xù)壯大。國(guó)家衛(wèi)健委5月11日在新聞發(fā)布會(huì)上介紹，近十年來(lái)全國(guó)護(hù)士隊(duì)伍總量以平均8%的速度遞增，每年約有30萬(wàn)名左右的新護(hù)士入職。2022年年底，全國(guó)注冊(cè)護(hù)士總量超過(guò)520萬(wàn)人，全國(guó)醫(yī)護(hù)比為1:1.18。護(hù)士隊(duì)伍的學(xué)歷素質(zhì)和專(zhuān)業(yè)服務(wù)能力都得到了不斷提升。

國(guó)家衛(wèi)健委表示，下一步，我國(guó)將持續(xù)采取有力措施，進(jìn)一步加強(qiáng)護(hù)士隊(duì)伍建設(shè)。主要有以下幾方面：一是持續(xù)增加護(hù)士數(shù)量。到2025年，全國(guó)護(hù)士隊(duì)伍總量力爭(zhēng)達(dá)到550萬(wàn)，每千人口注冊(cè)護(hù)士數(shù)達(dá)到3.8人，基層護(hù)士數(shù)量達(dá)到120萬(wàn)。二是保障護(hù)士合法權(quán)益。深入推動(dòng)落實(shí)《中華人民共和國(guó)基本醫(yī)療衛(wèi)生與健康促進(jìn)法》《護(hù)士條例》等法律法規(guī)。三是加強(qiáng)人才培養(yǎng)培訓(xùn)。到2025年，上述緊缺護(hù)理專(zhuān)業(yè)護(hù)士參加培訓(xùn)比例不低于90%。四是實(shí)施醫(yī)院護(hù)士崗位管理。推動(dòng)醫(yī)院科學(xué)設(shè)置護(hù)理崗位，實(shí)施基于護(hù)理崗位的護(hù)士人力配置、績(jī)效考核、薪酬待遇、職稱(chēng)晉升、獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)評(píng)優(yōu)等。

在中國(guó)抗擊新冠肺炎疫情最緊要的時(shí)刻，來(lái)自中國(guó)全國(guó)各地馳援湖北的4萬(wàn)多名醫(yī)護(hù)人員中，三分之二是女性。有一位來(lái)自廣東省的小護(hù)士還不滿20歲。記者問(wèn)她，你還是一個(gè)孩子，還需要?jiǎng)e人幫助。她回答說(shuō)，穿上防護(hù)服，我就不是孩子了。這段對(duì)話感動(dòng)了整個(gè)中國(guó)！正是成千上萬(wàn)這樣的中國(guó)女性，白衣執(zhí)甲，逆行而上，以勇氣和辛勞詮釋了醫(yī)者仁心，用擔(dān)當(dāng)和奉獻(xiàn)換來(lái)了山河無(wú)恙。

In China, at the height of the battle against COVID-19, more than 40,000 health workers from across the country rushed to Hubei province, which was the hardest hit by the virus, and two-thirds of them were women. Among them was a nurse from Guangdong province who had not yet reached the age of 20. Answering a reporter's question of whether she was too young to help others, she said, "The moment I put on the protective suit, I am not a kid anymore." Those words moved the whole nation. In fact, many women medical workers in China, like this girl, and in their tens of thousands, have taken on the virus bravely by putting themselves in harm's way. Their courage and hard work have shown the very best of the medical profession. Their devotion and sacrifice have kept the nation intact through difficult times.
