    開普敦（Cape Town）是南非立法首都，重要港口，好望角省首府。位于好望角北端的狹長地帶，瀕大西洋特布爾灣。始建于１６５２年，原為東印度公司供應站駐地，是西歐殖民者最早在南部非洲建立的據點，故有“南非諸城之母”之稱，長期是荷蘭、英國殖民者向非洲內陸擴張的基地。現為立法機關所在地。
